Anna Meares' 33.588s World Record from the 2007 Worlds in Mallorca. Krupeckaite did not participate in the last round of the World Cup preferring to return home to the new Velodrome in
Lithuania and put in some intensive training, which obviously paid off with a simply amazing performance that even 500m Time Trial legend Meares could not match.

Copenhagen World Cup
Reacting to today’s fine fifth place in the team pursuit achieved at the World Cup in Copenhagen, Cycling Ireland officials have said that they is hoping that the performance will receive top-level recognition abroad and at home.
The first consideration is relating to participation in next month’s track world championships in Poland. “We are not sure about the worlds yet,” said team manager Brian Nugent. “We are now ranked 11th in the world rankings for team
pursuit and the top 20 get invited. However the rules state you must ride 4 world cups and we only rode 2. So we have made to a plea to the UCI on financial grounds.

This frame is designed for Road Racing but is equally at home in the etape and
sportive world, the frame has been used and testing extensively in 2008 with Andy Fenn, one of Dolan's
Junior Team and winner of the Junior Paris Roubaix classic race. It has also been used by
continental professional team Pezula who race extensively in Europe and the USA, this team
contained triple Irish Champion David O'Loughlin and Kieran Power who both rode for the USA pro team Navigators in 2007.
